Yes, I remember. We both thought fleetingly about swiping the personalized notepads. And I remember the horses in the paddock. And Copenhagen's grave. And the secret stairway. I'll always remember that day and being there with you. A perfect, bucket list of a day. Sigh. At least we have our memories and our selfies!
I am so very sad he won't be at the Waterloo events as it is my understanding he very much wanted to attend. A fine gentleman and justifiably proud of his ancestry.
